For reasons I don't want to go into, I've decided to end my blog. It's been really enjoyable and I've met some lovely people along the way, so it's a bit of a sad day for me really. For those of you who regularly visited and enjoyed taking a look at my stuff I am genuinely sorry for closing it down. I shall sometime shortly in the future be having my better photos hosted elsewhere. If ever you want to take a look I won't be hard to find, follow the direction of The Oswegan.

Yeah it's ABC. You don't know how much I've missed this day of the week. Thanks to my mate for coming up with the idea and then my other friend for lending me his Zippo lighters I came up with these two pics. I must apologise for using up all of his petrol.

One Shot Stories

I'll give you a break from my holiday snaps for a while. This next picture is part of a project I'm working on titled "One Shot Stories". For this scene, I felt it unwise to start asking friends if they'd mind coming into my darkened bedroom whilst I took pictures of them, so I ended up doing a self portrait. Lets be honest, you'd be more than a little apprehensive wouldn't you? I won't tell you how many attempts it took before I decided "That's gonna have to do, I'm sick of getting up and down". However, I will at some point go through it all again because I'm not happy with the results from the ISO 800 setting I used.

I spent about 10 minutes trying to take a photo of the bench without people being in the way. I managed it eventually but now I actually prefer the shot with people in it.

Happy New Year everyone. The reason for my absence for the last few weeks is because I've been to Florida where the weather is somewhat warmer than over here in England. From there I went to Cornwall for New Year. I didn't really want to advertise the fact to the world that my house was going to be left empty so I'm sorry for being a bit vague. Anyway I'm back now (obviously) and whilst I was over in America I managed to take about a thousand holiday snaps which I won't bore you with and also around fifty more arty ones which no doubt will end up on here over the coming weeks.

That's all I have time for now as I need to catch up on everybody's blogs and then think about doing a little work.
